Frank Day
Chairman of the Board
Frank Day created the Old Chicago concept in 1976, the Rock Bottom Brewery concept in 1990 and the ChopHouse concept in 1995. Mr. Day was also instrumental in leading the company through a private transaction in 1999, in forming the company’s franchising entity in 2000, and in creating the Rock Bottom Foundation in 2001. In 2008, Mr. Day assumed his current role as President and CEO, concurrent with serving as Chairman of the Board. Mr. Day has 50 years of entrepreneurial experience in the restaurant and hospitality industry. In addition to the company's 144 restaurants, Mr. Day has ownership interests in Concepts Restaurants, Inc. two hotels and several other businesses. Mr. Day holds a B.A. and a M.B.A. from Harvard University.
Allen Corey
President and Chief Executive Officer
Allen Corey joined the Company full time in January of 1997. He was an initial investor in and founder of the Company, and acted as outside legal counsel since its inception. Previously he was a practicing attorney for more than 15 years specializing in corporate and securities law, and was instrumental in the founding of several growth companies. At the time he became President, he also assumed counsel status at the law firm of Miller & Martin, where he is a former partner. He is a member of the Board of Trustees of The Baylor School in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He is also a former member of the Board of the Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport. He was the 2009/2010 Co-Chair of Fast Day, the annual fundraiser for the Chattanooga Community Kitchen. He is a board member for the Tennessee Wildlife Federation and RiverCity Company. He has a B.A. from the University of North Carolina and a J.D. degree from Vanderbilt University School of Law.
